Applications open for 5th Nasser Fellowship



The Nasser International Forum announced this morning the launch of the application form for the fifth batch of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, which will be held in the near future under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the participation of 150 young leaders from diverse executive fields, as well as active and influential youth from around the world.  


Hassan Ghazaly, the anthropologist and founder of the Nasser International Forum, indicated that the fifth batch of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership targets 150 leaders from various countries worldwide, including decision-makers in the public sector, graduates of the African Union Volunteer Program, graduates of the United Nations Volunteer Program and  graduates of the National Leadership Academy.

It also targets executive leaders in the private sector, representatives of the national committees of the World Youth Forum, members of the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Network, civil society activists, presidents of national youth councils, members of local councils, young political party leaders, faculty members in universities, researchers in strategic and intellectual research centers, members of professional syndicates, journalists, media professionals, and social entrepreneurs.  

The founder of the Nasser International Forum further explained that the fifth edition of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership aims to select a distinguished group of young leaders from around the world based on precise and fair criteria that reflect a commitment to transparency and equal opportunities. 

These criteria align with Egypt's Vision 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals, and regional and global agendas. He emphasized that the comprehensive system for selecting participants ensures social justice and leadership innovation. 

Additionally, he clarified that one of the conditions for participating in the fellowship is that applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 40, with the opportunity for youth from the Global South, including Africa, Asia, Latin America, and others, to apply.  

It is worth mentioning that the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership is one of Egypt's initiatives that plays a role in supporting international development efforts by enhancing the qualification of deserving cadres through offering all forms of support, qualification, and training as a preparation mechanism for empowering them in leadership and executive positions and benefiting from their capabilities and ideas. 

The fellowship also targets young leaders with diverse executive specializations who are active within their communities and seeks to share Egypt's developmental experience in strengthening institutions and building national identity.
